The Oakland Raiders won a thriller on the last play against their division rival Kansas City Chiefs, 31-30, and will look to build on that last second win as they take a long trip from Oakland to Orchard Park, New York.
What’s good Raider Nation? Welcome to this week’s edition of talking touchdowns! The Raiders are 2-5 and next up are the LA Chargers. These two old rivals have no love for each other so it’s going to be an interesting match up.
We all know defense wins championships but I don’t know if the Raiders have gotten that memo just yet. Although the Raiders defense played slightly better than last week, it was not good enough. The offense could not get into the rhythm, dropping their second straight game of the season and losing its first division game to the Denver Broncos, 16-10.
It was not a pretty picture for the Raiders this past Sunday, both offensively and defensively. They did not look ready for the Redskins as Washington dominated the silver and black; handing them an ugly 27-10 loss on Sunday Night Football.
What’s up Raider Nation!! Oakland is now up 2-0 after their victory against the New York Jets on Sunday. The boys in black and silver were back in The Bay and they definitely showed Oakland some love: Marshawn Lynch even brought back the hyphen movement, pumping up the fans in his first home game. Derek Carr and Michael Crabtree hooked up three times in the end zone for the hat trick and that’s really all the Raiders needed to take out the NY Jets at home. Cordarrelle Patterson and Jalen Richard both had long touchdown runs of their own in the second half to put the game completely out of reach and the final score was 20-45 Oakland Raiders!
