Tips & Tricks: Halftime Workout


Hey Bolt Nation! Getting a lengthy workout in my week can be tough, so I found the perfect time slot to sweat it out…You guessed it, halftime!

Expert Tiffany Marie is here from Body by Simone and put together a quick 15-minute workout that is the absolute perfect halftime filler. Here’s a rundown of how we’ll get to sweating it out on our halftime break:

3-4-minutes dance cardio to get us warmed up!

3-minute standing leg series (repeat 2x on each leg):
8 curtsey lunges
8 lunges
8 tap backs (soft bed in opposite knee)
8 side taps (soft bend in opposite knee)

45-second BBS high knees to get that heart rate pumpin’, if it wasn’t already from watching the game!

3-minute arm/core series (repeat 3x):
10 push-ups (diamond for advanced)
Plank for 25 seconds
5-10 second rest

Another 45 seconds of BBS high knees to break the sweat!

3-minute ab series (repeat 3x):
10 full sit ups with arms (legs extended straight on ground for advanced)
10 star crunches/sit-ups
10 bicycle crunches

Time to burn it out! (repeat 3x):
15 second high knees
15 second Melvin Gordons AKA fast feet

And that’s all! Now you can go about cracking open a cold one without feeling as guilty! Go Chargers!
