In the NBA Finals, LeBron and the Cavs Just Can’t Wait to be King

It’s finally here, the NBA Finals between the two teams seemingly destined to meet again. What can we expect from this high potent offensive matchup you ask? Well, for starters, the Cavs and the Warriors breezed through their playoff schedules and are a combined 24-1 heading into their finals re-match; so what will the Cavaliers need to do in order to slow down the Warriors Superteam and win back-to-back championships?

First, LeBron James, LeBron James and yes, more LeBron James. Sounds original I know, but he’s simply the best player in the world and is arguable playing the best basketball of his career at the moment, so it’s only fitting that the Cavs will need to ride his greatness through this post-season run.

Next, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love are both integral pieces to the Cavs’ success, and here’s why. Kyrie Irving’s offensive prowess poses a very difficult defensive matchup for Steph Curry, as we’ve seen Kyrie take advantage of Steph’s inability to guard him in the past. This is one key matchup to keep an eye on. Second, Kevin Love has flown under the radar a bit thus far in the 2017 Playoffs, but his ability to rebound and stretch the floor on the offensive end will be necessary components for the Cavaliers throughout the series.

And lastly, role players J.R. Smith, Kyle Korver and Tristan Thompson are key difference makers. Although they won’t receive the same media attention the Big 3 do, the shooting of J.R. Smith and Kyle Korver and the Defense and Rebounding of Tristan Thompson could prove to be the difference in a long high-powered series.

You will have to watch the video to hear my series and game prediction!
