Low Carb Recipe for Your NBA Playoff Party

Alright Clipper Nation, so one thing you all need to know about me is that I absolutely LOVE to cook! So, I thought I would kick off the playoffs by giving you all a perfect gameday recipe to take with you or have at home when you’re watching the Clippers playoffs round 1.

So here is my recipe for Bacon wrapped asparagus!

  • 1 pack Asparagus
  • 1 pack Maple Bacon (or regular)
  • 1 pack toothpicks
  • sugar

Clippers Fangirl Recipe - Asparagus-wrapped-Bacon
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven 375 degrees on conventional bake.
  2. Rinse the asparagus and cut it in slices of about 3 inches.
  3. Take your bacon out and cut it in thirds.
  4. Take one piece of asparagus and wrap one piece of bacon around the middle.
  5. Grab a toothpick and put it right through the middle to hold the bacon in place and set on baking tray.
  6. After you’ve filled your bacon tray, put in the oven at degrees for 20 minutes and rotate the pan halfway through.
  7. At the end of the cooking process, pull out the tray and sprinkle some sugar over the top. You can even put on some soy sauce or teriyaki sauce and place back in the oven for 5-10 more minutes.
  8. Place on serving platter and enjoy!
